Lessons learned

Yes, even I can learn. I thought of the CB with NOAA weather channels (whilst going from I81 PA into NY we heard of lane closures and a work around that saved us considerable time), had the Malibu serviced (Peg let us take it), sun glasses (forgotten on trip to Manassas), and little stuff like that. It is also very important to remember to close the drain on the cooler when placing it in the trunk. On Thursday morning Den noticed a few damp clothes in his bag. Upon inspection of the trunk the source of the dampness was discovered and corrected. My bad. The 'special' (Lori will know) bag was not affected (thank goodness).

We did forget a good deed done in Buena. While returning from AC on US 40 a rather large turtle was observed trying to cross the road. Several cars had barely missed the creature and his defense was to pull extremities into the shell. Harry immediately turned the car around and Mel jumped out to carry the turtle to the other side without further incident. I hope that is where he wanted to go but my turtle is not so good and his English was on a par with my turtle.

Well it is off to London to see the sights. We'll probably break from casinos today, Canada cannot afford the cash outlay.
